Guild-hunt.
Guild-hunts is a large part of our guild, this is one of the activities that we have very often and also what we use to evaluate potential members. It is important that if you are going to take part in a guild-hunt remember to read the following rules and procedures so you have a clear understanding of what to do.

Before hunt preparations
Before the hunt, members are require to arrive 30 mins before the hunt to allow for sometime to be brief and prepare for the hunt. During this time members will be told to form up together on one area indicated by the huntmaster.

Names will be call up by the huntmaster and these people will be choosen to act as squadleaders for the remaining time of the hunt. The squadleaders will step out and stand beside the huntmaster in a row.

Next all mages and warriors profficent in ressurecting will be called to spread themselves out before each squadleader and huntmaster. The supporting chars like bard and tamers will next be call to spread themselves before each squadleader and huntmaster. Finally are the rest of the members that have not been group will be ask to spread themselves evenly between each party.

Squadleaders are responsible to make sure that the parties are even and each party does not exceed 4 people including the leaders themselves.

The beggining of the hunt.
Once the group is formed the huntmaster will set up a UOAM server and squadleaders will link to the huntmaster. Once that is done squadleaders will then party add the members of their squad.

Squadleaders will then check to make sure that all members of the squad are partied and huntmaster must check that all squadleaders are properly link in UOAM.

The squad lead by the huntmaster will be call the commandsquad and this squad will act as overall management of the whole hunt, all commandsquad members are responsible for protecting the huntmaster so that he/she can concentrate on managing the hunt.

Once everyone is ready the mage of the squadcommand will create a portal to the hunting zone. Depending on the hostilities of the area huntmaster may send a scout from his squad before the whole hunt-party goes in to make sure that its safe.

Once the huntmaster gives the order to enter the gate everyone will proceed into the gate and form up again on the other side. The huntmaster will be the second to last to jump the gate, the last being his commandsquad mage who is opening the gate.

The actual hunt.
Once everyone is ready the huntmaster will give the orders to start the hunt. Everyone will enter the hunting zone including the huntmaster and his commandsquad.

During the hunt all members must follow the instructions of their squadleaders and squadleaders will follow the instructions of the huntmaster.

As a squad gets overloaded with gold they will bring it back to the huntmaster to be stored.

Each hunt will last for an exact hour from the start of the hunt, once the hour is up all squads must sieze what they are doing and proceed either by recalling or crawling back out to the starting point without prompting by the huntmaster.

All gold collected thus far will all be handed over to the huntmaster and it will be totalled and divided evenly back to each members involve with the hunt. Members who collected anything else other then gold may keep the loot themselves.

The end of the hunt.
During this time all squadleaders must double check to make sure they did not leave anybody behind in the hunting zone, we will not leave members behind. Once gold has been divided and given out members may choose to donate it to the guild treasury or keep it themselves whichever they prefered.

A few things to take note.
Members of a squad must stay within the party at all times and listen to your squadleader. Do not run off on your own. It is advice to stay within one screen of your party under all situation.

Before the hunt party members should have their teammates lifebar up so they can easily heal them.

Move slowly! As a group try to keep at a walking pace so everyone with a different connection speed can keep up and not get seperated.

Squadleader are adviced to assign a place of regrouping so everyone knows where to meet up in case someone got seperated.

Squadleader are adviced to pair up your party members so they can watch each others health more effectively.

Look after each other.
Members must place each other's life above all else, this is top priority and is the basis of a successful hunt. Always heal each other if members of your party is in trouble. Warriors should try to cross heal each other as well. And if you find yourself getting pounded very badly don't panic and run all over the place your party members cannot heal or invis you if you run around.

And the general rule also applies here in that no area effect spells are allowed, that includes bladespirit and energy vortex unless squadleader says otherwise. If a member got killed in a fight try and clear off the monsters first before trying to ress. Value members life before loot if the loot disappears let it be.

Conclusion.
Every hunt will likely be managed by a different huntmaster each time and everytime before a hunt new parties will always be form so this promotes members to mix around and know each other. In this way we can form a tighter community where everyone knows everybody in a personal level. And remember the proformance of the squadleaders and members of the hunt are noted and recorded after each hunt so members who shows the spirit of the guild stands a good chance at promotion. This goes to potential recruits as well so do your best to uphold the virtues.
